San Diego, CA —Three people were stuck in an elevator for about an hour sending one of the people trapped to the hospital. The elevator was located at San Diego’s large homeless feeding and care center located in St. Vincent de Paul Village building on Imperial Avenue and 15th Street. Firefighters were called at approximately 9:30 a.m. to help remove the people from the elevator. They were freed at about 10:20 a.m. A 45-year-old woman was hospitalized with chest pains at UCSD Medical Center. The cause of the elevator being stuck is not known at this time.
